Honda CBR 600 F-J in Ferndown, Dorset for sale

For Sale: Honda CBR 600 F-J 1988 MOT until 22nd May 2013 No Tax (It is now a law to declare SORN if vehicle is not insured) 36 753 Miles Good Points: * The bike is in excellent mechanical condition- starts, accelerates and rides beautifully! * The chassis, engine, wheels and all fairings have just been painted (see pictures). * It has stainless steel end piece exhaust. The primary and secondary pipes are painted black (heat resistant paint) * The rear sprocket, rear wheel bearings and rear brake pads were replaced about 800 miles ago. * The speedometer drive gear was replaced recently as well. * The bike was occasionally cutting down when I got it due to a faulty CDI unit so that was replaced as well. The bike did not have any problems since the part was replaced. I shall give you the old CDI unit as a spare. * Excellent on fuel – on long journeys at average speed of 70 mph with 90kg rider on it does 52 mpg!!! * Cheap to insure! Bad Points: * The rear tyre tread is within legal requirement but it would possibly need replacing for the next MOT (22nd May 2013). The only reason to sell is because I upgraded to a bigger machine now (1100cc Suzuki). I am still a big fan of Honda though! I’ll be sad to see her go but no point to keep the two machines.
